Boater Safety

Attention Motor Boater Operators!

A recent change to the New York State boating laws will require all boat operators to take and pass a state approved boating safety course. 

Attend a USLA offered course during the summer or Find A Course near you. 

The new law will gradually be phased in until all boaters of all ages have passed the boating course by 2025. You will be required to show a certificate that you have completed the course.
